Buddy is a smooth-talking, skirt-chasing ad exec who is enjoying his high-powered career. In a twist of fate, Buddy gives up his seat on an airliner to a fellow passenger, only for the plane to crash. One year later, Buddy decides to check up on Abby, the widow of the man who took his seat. He soon finds himself falling in love with her before he gets the chance to tell her what brought him to her in the first place. Now, he's left with the dilemma: what's going to happen when she finds out who he actually is?
