Work & Waffles with Giles Panton

Giles Panton joined the cast of Chesapeake Shores, creating quite a stir near the end of season 3. Weeks of speculation led the Chessies to question what type of character Giles might portray, as he is known for roles that involve conflict. Welcomed by the fans on social media, Giles added a lot of humour, particularly when his character Chris antagonized Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) with his business ideas. Despite the mixed feelings about Chris, Chessies are hopeful to see a return of the “Waffle King” if renewed for season 4.

"More where that came from" with Brittany Willacy

Fans of Chesapeake Shores enjoy the bridge of stories between the O’Brien family and performances by the Trace Riley Band. Unlike attending a concert to hear the set list, viewers get a glimpse beyond the stage and into the personal lives of the musicians, including the sacrifices made to follow their passion. This perspective offers Chessies a chance to enjoy the music itself, with a greater depth and understanding of the creative process, including the time invested and inspiration behind the lyrics.

There is anticipation, that feeling of excitement when you have planned a trip and are waiting for it to arrive. For Chessies, those feelings began prior to the premiere and have carried through every episode in season 3. The writers have taken us on a journey, with the season finale feeling like the final day of vacation; the one where you are packing up your suitcase, grateful for the time that you’ve had, but with a sense of disheartenment as you face the reality of leaving this home away from home.
