Sam, bookseller by day and musician by night, loses the woman of his life, Josephine, and in fact, the meaning of his existence. Until his incongruous and somewhat crazy meeting with a mysterious young woman, Pi, which becomes synonymous with rebirth: while Sam regains a taste for life and music, Pi deciphers the part of the mystery that she carries in her.
