When Calls the Heart returns to Super Channel

EDMONTON (Sept 7, 2017) – Super Channel is pleased to announce that the heart-warming family drama, When Calls the Heart, will return for a fourth season on Sunday, September 17 at 7 p.m. ET (SC1). Each episode of the eleven episode season will also be available on Super Channel On Demand the day following its weekly linear broadcast.

The enchanting Hallmark Channel original series is a Canadian co-production filmed on location in British Columbia and based on the bestselling book series by acclaimed Canadian author Janette Oke. The series stars Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Lori Loughlin (Fuller House, 90210), Daniel Lissing (The Last Resort), Jack Wagner (The Bold and the Beautiful), Pascale Hutton (Sanctuary) and Kavan Smith (Supernatural).

A special 90-minute Christmas themed episode serves as the lead-in to season four. In “When Calls the Heart Christmas” an intriguing peddler comes to Hope Valley selling the townspeople his wares and teaching them valuable lessons about joy and giving. When the townspeople realize that the recently displaced settlers in the area will not have a proper Christmas, they come together to create a special holiday celebration — including a Nativity presentation from the schoolchildren — that will infuse everyone with the true spirit of Christmas.
