EDMONTON (February 16, 2022) – Super Channel proudly congratulates its production partners following the unveiling of the 2022 Canadian Screen Award nominations yesterday.

Super Channel programming garnered a total of 25 nominations, consisting of 10 television and digital nominations and 15 nominations for Super Channel supported feature films. The Super Channel Heart & Home feature Faith Heist from No Equal Entertainment was recognized with five nominations including Best Direction – TV Movie, Best Writing – TV Movie, as well as Best TV Movie. Commissioned by the BBC and CBC/Radio-Canada in association with Super Channel, The North Water, a UK/Canada treaty co-production from Canada’s Rhombus Media and the UK’s See-Saw Films, received four nominations, including Best Drama Series. The five-part limited series is available now on Super Channel Fuse, as well as streaming and On Demand. The Super Channel original true-crime documentary, Catching a Serial Killer: Bruce McArthur from Peacock Alley Entertainment was nominated as Best Documentary Program.
