Super Channel, Canada’s national premium television network, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) Media Specialist in its fast-paced and growing broadcast production facility.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for the entertainment industry.


Responsibilities:
* Acquire, manipulate and prepare program images for use with SVOD products.
* Assist with preparation and management of program images for use with SVOD products.
* Deal with the management of electronic image databases and libraries.
* Review and ensure the quality of SVOD video files
* Assemble SVOD packages (video, images, metadata, etc.) for delivery to broadcast partners.
* Facilitate shipping (both physical and electronic) SVOD packages to broadcast partners.
* Assist in strategic planning for the company.
* Other tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Background in digital media.
* Familiarity with image editing software (ie: Photoshop, GIMP, Fireworks, etc)
* Basic graphic design and composition skills (for manipulating program images).
* Well developed interpersonal skills in communications and team dynamics.
* Highly organized and motivated, with the ability to work independently.
* Previous broadcast/entertainment/web experience an asset.
